MINDEN, 11 JANUARY 2002 - Bently Nevada announces the release of their new 3500/94 VGA Display for the 3500 monitoring system. Using a standard color VGA monitor with touch screen technology, it displays 3500 data including System Event List, Alarm Event List, all module and channel data, current alarm data (quick view), and nine custom display options. All system data can be organized into specified sets and assigned to a custom screen. The result is a highly viewable, full color display offering bright, crisp, intuitive screens. The 3500/94 VGA Display can be mounted up to 25 feet from the 3500 rack using the standard cabling. For many 3500 installations, it is the ideal display option eliminating the need for separate display and screen configuration software. Numerous pre-configured display options are available, including standard screens that are designed to fully comply with API 670 requirements. The selectable API 670 screen is similar to the view of the 3500 rack showing Direct or Gap values, along with OK and Bypass status for each channel. Also available for the 3500/94 VGA Monitor is a Display Router Box that allows up to four 3500 racks to be viewed on a single screen. Racks are viewed one at a time, but the rack address and alarm status of each are always visible in the upper right corner of the screen. Independent of the 3500 racks, the Router Box can be mounted to a wall, cabinet, door, or DIN rail. For non-API 670 applications, which require a dedicated display for each individual rack, this drastically reduces installation space and cost associated with multiple displays.
