MINDEN, NEVADA, 6 August 2001 - Bently Nevada Corporation has been named in VARBusiness magazine's annual listing of "America's Largest 500 Solution Providers for 2001." Ranked by revenue, Bently Nevada placed 171^st among North America's most successful "consultants, integrators, and service organizations." Bently Nevada shares this top 500 distinction with well-known, multi-billion-dollar organizations like IBM Global Services, EDS Corp., HP Consulting, and Compaq Global Services. Collectively, this year's top 500 companies generated over $278 billion in sales in 2000. Bently Nevada ranked 36^th among privately held companies on the listing.

In its 46^th year of operation, Bently Nevada has traditionally been recognized as a provider of instrumentation for measuring the mechanical condition of industrial machinery, but not necessarily as a solutions provider. However, according to Sr. Vice President of Sales & Service, Steven Riggs, inclusion in the VARBusiness list proves that perception is changing.
