Wind power is a rapidly growing form of renewable energy in many parts of the world. Tens of thousands of wind turbines, frequently in unmanned and remote areas, represent valuable assets. Now, there is an innovative solution for online condition monitoring of these wind turbines, one built on the proven Trendmaster® Pro hardware and System 1® software platforms. Monitoring vibration, temperature, and other machinery parameters indicative of wind turbine mechanical health, the system offers continuous, automatic monitoring in addition to critical diagnostic data when needed for quick root cause analysis. Automated data analysis is also available which provides operators with real time intelligent advisories if a problem is detected. The package is intended for both factory installation on new turbines as well as field retrofits of existing turbines. Allianz certification is also available for European installations.
